Amy Paulsen has been solving regulatory and logistical challenges in the electric vehicle industry for nearly a decade.  Her early career experience in law and law enforcement facilitates the kind of comprehensive planning and execution needed to develop new market channels and maximize revenue for new product launches.  Her professional niche is designing trade and logistics pathways and process that meet foreign and domestic regulatory requirements, while opening some of the world’s most restrictive markets to American innovation.

As of March, 2022, Amy joined the Legal team at Rivian in the role of Associate General Counsel, with an eye to continuing her work expanding Rivian’s global reach with a regulatory and compliance focus.

A former Secret Service Special Agent and litigator, Amy has managed complex global logistics and new market entry at Caterpillar, Tesla, and Rivian Automotive.  Amy holds a J.D. from Loyola in New Orleans, and an MBA from Illinois State.
