Jamie Zinser is Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing at Novelis with nearly 30 years of automotive industry experience. In this role, Jamie is responsible for the global commercial strategy for Automotive.

Prior to joining Novelis, Jamie was Chief Technology Officer at Global Automotive Systems, where she was responsible for all sales, marketing, new business development strategy, product and process engineering, and program management.

Jamie began her career at DURA Automotive Systems as an intern and advanced into key engineering and leadership roles such as Vice President of Global Engineering and Chief Commercial Officer. She led global product engineering, including structural systems and lightweight innovations including closures, cross-car beams, and space frame systems. She has extensive expertise in aluminum and high-strength steel engineering including crash management and marrying of dissimilar materials.

Jamie is often sought after as a featured speaker at automotive industry technical events. She was recognized as one of the Top 100 Leading Women in the North American Automotive Industry in 2015 and 2020 and as a Rising Star by Crain’s Automotive News. She is a mentor to the Women of Tomorrow (WOT) Mentor and Scholarship Program to inspire at-risk young women to achieve their full potential.

Jamie earned her MSBE from GMI Engineering and Management Institute in Flint, MI (now Kettering University).
